Card of The family of the late John Hall would like to thank everyone for their kindness during our loss of a dear husband, father, grand- father, brother and uncle. The beautiful floral arrangements and the many donations that were given was a real tribute to him. Due to the Christmas weekend there was only one day for visita- tion and we would like to thank the many friends, relatives, Port Perry neighbours, Willlams Point neighbours and our former neighbours of Brooklin that came to offer their condolances. A special thanks to the Oddfellows Beethoven Lodge No. 165 for their lovely family service after the visitation. The Rev. Dale Davis of the Blackstock-Nestléton charge was a very faithful visitor to both Oshawa General Hospital and the Community Memorial Hospital of Port Perry and we are very grateful for his kindness as John was quite ill for almost a year. At our .summer. residence at Williams Point our next door neighbours are Father John Newton and "Father Brad Massman. Rev. Davis very kind- ly asked them if they would like to participate in the Memorial service. They accepted his invita- tion and they all gave a wonder- ful "In Memoriam" to our loved one. It was very personal and -helped us to'sustain our faith that there Is a life beyond this one. We really appreciate the ladies of the U.C.W. of Nestleton United Church for preparing and serving . the lunch after the service. As it' was December 24th we were aware they had other things they could have been doing but they are a very dedicated group and have our grateful thanks. We would like to thank the kind friends who have sent so many beautiful sympathy cards, also for the frequent phone calls that let us know we're being remembered. We would like to thank the doc- tors and nurses of both the Oshawa General Hospital and the Community Memorial Hospital of Port Perry for their faithful vigil during the many months John . was In their care.
