Offender's Act have been laid against two males, following a shooting incident in Port Perry January 20. Durham Regional Police say a woman walking west through a Water Street parking lot noticed a male pointing a gun out of an apartment window. She thought it was a rifle, but it tumed out to be a pellet gun. She told police she heard glass breaking, and then saw beer bottles on the ground being shot at. Police went to the apartment and later laid seven charges against two individuals: both were charged with possession of weapons dan- gerous; careless use of a firearm; mischief to private property. One Injured in ATC accident A 30 year old Little Britain man, injured in an all-terrain vehi- cle accident, was found by two lo- cal men lying on the ice of Lake Scugog at 2:20 a.m. January 22. Durham Regional Police say Gary Hawkins was travellin north on a 1983 Honda AT when the vehicle hit a pressure crack and rolled. He described it as a "catch-up" contract for the inside employees. - Under the new pact, the hour- ly rate for technical and clerical staff will range from $10.73 to $13.17, and the rate for most of the roads department staff will be $14.08.
