Bad fall puts man in hospital Prince Albert and Area News by Earline Armstrong Sorry to report that John Brough had a bad fall on Sunday night, it wasn't the fall that hurt, but when he hit the ground, he broke his ankle badly enough to be in Oshawa Hospital for 3 days. Mr. and Mrs. Reiner Van Ravenswaay and Mr. and Mrs. Ben Van Ravenswaay and 3 children of Dunnville, Ontario spent Friday as over night guests of Mr. and Mrs. Alvin Van Ravenswaay and children. Stephen Dearborn was home for the weekend from Brock University in St. Catherines and Shelley was home too from Guelph visiting Mom & Dad, Mr. & Mrs. Harvey Dearborn. . Thursday evening saw eight tables of euchre played at Prince Albert Hall. Ladies prizes went to Bernice Daniels, Merle St. John and Doris Hill. There was a very poor turn out at the annual meeting on Sunday at the Prince Albert church. The great spring weather took everyone with it. Andrew Pereman and three friends enjoyed a day of roller skating on Saturday at "Wheelies"" in Whitby. This was to celebrate Andrews 14th birth- day on Tuesday Jan. 31. On Sunday Mr. and Mrs. Earl Martyn had Mr. and Mrs. Bruce Martyn, Nikki and Brendan from Islington, John and Marion Lake from Oakwood, Mr. and Mrs. Alan McKeown and Tracy from Woodville to dinner. Anyway, most of us made it on time. Choir practise is at Epsom on Thursday at 8 p.m. They are preparing special music for Easter and would like all the voices that they can get to come forth. The Sunday School teachers meeting is Feb. 8th at Irene Fieldings. The Church session is holding a Pancake Supper in Utica Church on Tuesday, February 7th com- mencing at 7 p.m. The collection plate will be passed and proceeds will go towards building in- provements needed at Epsom.
