The "Head" U.C.W. bus trip to Toron- to is all planned for Thursday, April 13. Helen Redman has taken this responsibility and has '10 tickets left for anyone else who would like to go. It will cover the afternoon and return after dinner. The trip covers a favourable seat at the Roy Thompson Hall to see the Geriatric Follies. This will be followed by a planned dinner at nearby "Ed's Warehouse." The amount of $40.00 covers bus & everything else. Helen would desire to have your amount by April 1 to save confusion. So - ladies or gentlemen give her a call. The next "Head" U.C.W. will be at the home of Mrs. Bonnie Ger- row April 5. This is the same night as the "Grace" U.C.W. Beef Sup- per. But everyone will have a chance to attend the supper first. I believe there are a few seats left for 5,6 & 7 p.m. The "Grace" U.C.W. will meet this Wed. evening at the home of Mrs. Heidi Krieg on Conc. 9. Members are reminded to bring items for the Hospital Spring Fair near the end of April. The "Head" U.C.W. are hoping for more items for 'Country Cookin' and craft show and sale" for April 22 at the hall. John and Mabel Sweetman * have been in Fairview Lodge for a couple of days and seem to be enjoying the care and extra company. Mrs. Eliza Fralick had a nasty fall on the ice three weeks ago and is gradually recovering from her bruises. Raymond Clare Fralick is still in hospital after the recent car ac- cident and hoping for repair of the serious physical injuries. It was indeed pleasant to hear from Marion and Morven Hughes who left Port View Beach for Nor- wood in the autumn. Tho' we miss them, it is good to hear that they are getting out and generally en- joying their new life. After an extended illness, we have lost another life long Island resident and we extend our sym- pathy to the family of Alan Aldred.
