Trustees approved the agree- ment March 27. The teachers had previously ratified it by 76 per cent. The one year joint agreement with the Ontario Public School Teachers Federation and the Durham Women Teachers Association expires Aug. 31. Pay is retroactive to September, 1988. The settlement brings teachers' salaries to a minimum of $25,919 for a new graduate with minimum qualifications and $53,621 for a fully qualified teacher with 11 years experience. Teachers without university .degrees make between $19,704 up to a maximum of 38,204 for a non- degreed fully certified teacher with 10 years experience.
