Mr. Copithorn was an employee with the firm since 1984, and has an excellent reputation as a tool and die maker. In the early evening Bryan and Judy Beacock and Philip served a tasty meal for both sets of grandparents. The G. Allison's of Blackstock and the Beacock's of Port Perry. Mr. and Mrs. Simons, Toronto * were recent visitors with Mrs. Electa Vance one day recently. All are pleased to learn Mrs. Helen Weeden is home from her long stay in the hospital. Spring must be on its way here for sure as some of the folks are arriving home from Florida after spending the winter there. Only nine tables of euchre were filled on Thursday evening. Lucky winners: Vera Fawns, Myrtle Gimblett, Clara Whitter. Men: Carl Gimblett, Robert Aird, Frank Andrews. Lucky draws: Lloyd Fawns, Blanche Baird. Euchres are held every week at 8:00 p.m. How quickly time passes and things change. It is thirty years since the Prince Albert Public School was built, so plans have been made for celebrating it's 30th anniversary this year. Former staff, students and parents are cordially invited to a tea at the school on Wednesday, April 26th between 4:00 and 6:00 p.m. (R.S.V.P. to Eleanor MacCallum). If anyone has any photographs or other memorabilia to share, please contact Janis McCoy at the school. Present students and parents are invited to share in our celebration at our Open House on Wednesday, April 26th between 7-9 p.m. Mrs. Shirley Garvey of Japan is visiting with her mom Florence Smith for a few days. The Monthly U.C.W. meeting will be held next week April the 12th at 8:00 p.m. in the Sunday School room. All ladies of the church are welcome. The Hospital Auxiliary are busy planning their annual Spring Fair on April 29th at the Latcham Cen- tre. Any donations of knitting, crafts - baking etc. are always ap- preciated.
