Much to everyone's surprise, their first game at 6:45 p.m. on the Friday was against the Oshawa Black Hawks whom Port Perry skated to a 2-2 tie with, Port took a 2-0 lead on goals by Dillan Weber assisted by Joey Vanderleeuw and Danny Robin- son and a goal by Kent Johnston assisted by Joey Vanderleeuw and Daryl McEnaney. Oshawa was able to come back and tie Port with less then 2 minutes in the third period. The second game was played on Sat. April 1 at 8:15 a.m. against. Port Credit, and the 'Pearce Auc- tion" squad chalked up a 2-0 win. Daryl McEnaney scored in the first period assisted by Rob Mur- phy and in the second period, Adam Jones let a blistering slap- shot go from the blue line and the Port Credit goalie didn't see the puck until it was in the net. Assists on this goal went to Justin Kowalczyk and Rob Murphy. The third game was played on Sun. April 2 at 1:30 p.m. against a team from Bolton Ont..
