After the reading of the minutes, and treasurer's report, the roll call was answered by pay- ing of dues for the coming year. We are happy to have a new member join us, in the person of Mrs. Dorothy McLaren. During the business period, a letter from Bethesda-Reach W.I. concerning farm care for children was read. Our branch voted to make a contribution to this program, The report on the leadership seminar is to be presented at our May meeting. Plans were discussed for our bazaar to be held May 17, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Municipal building. The district annual is to be held May 25 at Greenbank. A commit- tee was named to find new accom- modation for our meeting, as our rental for our present place will be terminated with our June meeting. Among the 1,500 visitors at the new Community Memorial Hospital were Dr. M.B. Dymond, Ontario Minister of Health. He met with several hospital officials - B.A. Bohan, administrator; Mrs. Jean Gray, director of nursing; and Mr. Storey Beare, member of the hospital board. Over 100 persons attended the first meeting of the proposed Historical Society and listened to the speaker, Professor L. Johnson, Waterloo University, who has been commissioned to write the history of Ontario County. Mr. and Mrs. J. Foote are reported to have bought the pro- perty east of Greenbank recently vacated by the Angus Clement amily. Mr. and Mrs. Wm.
