Our wonderful Seagrave Park will be busy soon with many planned activities, so again a work bee has been arranged at the park April 22nd at 9:30 a.m. (rain date Apr. 29th). Remember this is your park so please come out and help, as lots of help is needed to get things ready for baseball season. Also please take your own shovels and rakes (garbage bags are supplied). The Carter girls, of Robin Glade Estates, have been busy lately. In March, both Christina and Alexandra were chosen to represent their French Immer- sion grades at the Literary Guild presentations for grade one and grade three. Alexandra was chosen to go on and represent the school for the Regional Seminar in April. This past week both girls were competing in the Oshawa-Whitby Kiwanis Music Festival. Christina placed first for Grade 1 with a high score as did Alexan- dra place first for Grade 3. Alex- andra will also be doing a duet with her friend next week. New Information Babyville Durham Region's Department of Health Services is pleased to announce the beginning of a new program, Information Babyville, in the Port Perry area. This pro- gram consists of a series of eight classes, each being one and a half hours in duration, geared to new mothers and their infants up to 12 months of age.
