The Evening Unit U.C.W. is sponsoring a Family Walk-A- Thon of about 2 km. on Sunday, April 30, after church. Come to ~ church dressed for walking. If you would like to attend church but you're not sure about taking your infant or toddler along, there is now a regular nursery schedule in the Sunday School to provide babysitting dur- ing Church Services. The annual meeting of the Greenbank Women's Institute was held on Wednesday last at the home of Mrs. Armour McMillan. Business included arrangement for our part for the Ontario South District Annual to be held in Greenbank on May 25, nominating a committee to look after our fair exhibit and a com- mittee to plan our birthday party at the Villa. We appointed Mrs. Earle as our program co- ordinator and installed our of- ficers for the coming year. There is amother exhibit being planned for the fair by the District on recycling. The meeting closed with '"O Canada" and the grace, followed by an interesting ar- . rangement of raw vegetables and dip for lunch. Get well wishes this week go out to Murray Stone. Everyone pre- sent enjoyed a variety of ap- petizers and some lively conversation. The Greenbank Brownies, Guides and Pathfinders would like to thank all those who sup- ported their Cookie Blitz on Satur- day. Also, thank-you to the parents who helped out. They were very pleased with their sales for this year. If anyone was miss- ed and would still like to purchase cookies, they are available from Lila Clarkson at 985-3703. This week is Education Week and Greenbank School is having a Spring Concert on Wednesday, April 26, at 7:30 p.m. On Tuesday, some students from Greenbank School will travel to Epsom School to take part in the Literary Guild being held there.
