On April 8th she competed in Sud- bury. Angie came 3rd in her flight and 2nd in the final for a silver medal in the Junior Silver Ladies Freeskate. Congratulations! Lone Hand Series: Clara Whitter, George Harper tied with eleven each. The Scugog Christian School society are having a Talent Auc- tion at the Prince Albert Com- munity Centre on Friday evening April 28th. Preview of items to be auctioned at 6:30. Auction starts at 7:00 p.m. Many services and items will be auctioned. Baked goods and refreshments available. Everyone welcome. There will be home bak- ing, knitting, crafts, plants, can- dy and many other items. Plan on having lunch at 11:30 - 1:30. Would the Prince Albert Ladies making pies for it please leave at the church before 10:30. Other dates to remember -- May 6th 9:30 a.m. Flea Market at the Prince Albert Community Centre. Saturday, May 13th 10:00 am. to 5:00 p.m. a display of "Treasured Quilts' to be held in the Community Centre. Admis- sion and tea - $3.00. Former students and parents 4-6 p.m. Students and parents 7-9 p.m. On Sunday a real good turn-out at church. Under the leadership of Third place in freeskating Joan Lee the Junior Choir sang. Instrumental by the boys. Guest soloist Kristy Hutcheon of Seagrave sang in "The Garden" which was enjoyed by everyone. A new church sign has been plac- ed on the church - a gift from Don and Sandra Smith and family. On Saturday the Couples Club chartered a bus up to Toronto. They toured The Upper Canada Beer factory, The St. Lawrence Market. Then everyone met at the Spaghetti House for supper. Then returned home after an enjoyable outing. On Sunday, Carol Pettetier, Janice Galnville and daughter Lindsey, Earline Armstrong and granddaughters Tiffany and Elizabeth attended a bridal shower in Seagrave for Dianne Baylis at the home of Dawn Sutherland. Mr. and Mrs. G. Lehmann have returned home from a two week trip in the Dominican Republic. Ralph and Dianne McCullough and boys have returned from a "holiday in sunny Florida.
