This will assist the girls to go to a weekend camp at the end of May. A very special congratulations to the following girls who took part in the all around cord ceremonies with the Port Perry Guides on Sunday - Robyn Conlon, Jennifer Longo, Marianne and Mandy Smith and Lee-ann Wray. These girls worked very hard to finish all their requirements and leaders Lynn Wray and Cherie Wall will miss these girls as they move to new achievements. A very special thank you to Reverend Shepherd for coming out to our service. President Bill Harper opened the meeting & had a minute silence for Jim Elliot., a member who had passed away. Elaine Caswell read the minutes from the last meeting & Norm Caswell reported on the Treasury. A thank you to Harold Cornish, the P.A. System has been repaired. Christian women year one The May Deli-Dessert Buffet of the Port Perry Area Christian Women's Club is scheduled for Thursday May 4th, 7:00-9:00 p.m. at the Masonic Lodge on Queen Street. The Club is inter-church and non-sectarian with 2200 groups across Canada, the US.A,, and around the world.
