When total proceeds were tabulated by Cam- paign Chairperson Doris Taylor, the results were very rewarding with $38,000 - a marked increase with $5,000 more than in 1988. The Cancer Society wishes to say a warm, sincere thank you to all who helped make it the success it was, the captains, the can- vassers, and the generous donors, are all to be commended for a tremendous effort put forth by each and everyone! Our best wishes to this fine, young family! Nestleton Presbyterian Church The morning service of Nestleton Presbyterian Church was conducted by Susan Barbe (Swann) with Joyce Taylor as organist. The responsive Psalm was no. 84, and Scripture reading was Jonah 2 and Luke 5:1-11. The sermon posed the question "Are we running from God' as Jonah was doing when God caused him to be swallowed by the whale. A brief meeting of the Board of Managers followed the service. The Cemetery Decoration Day Service will be held at Cartwright Union Cemetery, Cadmus, on Sunday, June 11 at 2:30 p.m.. Nestleton United Church With a large attendance, the friendly greeters were Chuck and Carol Hill, Matthew and Aaron. Many visitors were warmly welcomed. Rev.
