Caesarea Community Church There was a reasonably good congregation in the Community Church on Sunday. The service was opened with special songs by Harry, with Rev. Dr. Crawford taking the Invocation and the Lord's Prayer. Harry read the responsive reading and Cecile and Dana read the two Scrip- tures. A delightful solo by Sarah Sherbun from Tyrone was en- joyed. The sermon preached by Rev. Crawford was entitled, '"'Health and Prosperity" the text from Third Epistle of John 2. "I wish that you may Prosper and be in health" - an excellent message! This Thursday evening will be a special service! Try to attend! Euchre Results For the regular Wednesday evening card game, held at the Caesarea Hall, the high score went to Kathleen Watt with a good score of 90. Second in line was her husband Albert Watt with 75. Low - Irene Train with 56. Eva Mac- Donald won the highest number of lone hands for the month of May with 13. Anne Harran supplied the nourishing refreshments, and a nice time of visiting was enjoyed! Try and attend this Wednesday, for a good time with neighbours and friends! At the Caesarea Hall at 8 p.m. sharp! Birthday Celebration! A fine get-together was held this past weekend, when Abie Cawker of Bobcaygeon, celebrated his 75th birthday! The "special" - event was "hosted" by son Dan- ny and Karen at their lovely residence on Castle Harbour, with its 'spacious lawn and roomy home. Delicious birthday cake and coffee was served to some forty relatives and close friends and a wonderful visit was enjoyed by all! Abie received many birthday cards extending best wishes for good health for the year ahead! Relatives were present from many places throughout the Pro- vince and son Joel was there from Vancouver, and daughter Bonnie from Napanee! Good to see so many! The Cawker picnic will be the next big celebration on July 30, at Birds eye - Centre. See you there!
