They had a shopping spree, besides many delightful hours visiting and socializing catching up on family news! This past Sunday afternoon, Neta attended a family get-to- gether, held at Buckhorn Lake with 21 present for the occasion! Grandson Keith and Rhonda Ban- nister, Nicole and Krista, hosted the event at their trailer with a delicious barbecued steak supper, complete with a tempting salad. An all-round day with tamily, that ore just couldn't miss! It was delightful to have Grant and Merna Cawker of Oshawa, for a salad supper on Sunday, June 4th, and a time of visiting! Grandson Curt was also a welcome guest this past week, at the S. Cawker residence, Scugog Pt. Rd.. U.C.W. Hosts Picture Presentation The U.C.W. pictures of the Ho- ly Land, presented on Sunday evening at Nestleton United Church although not a good atten- dance were excellent! Mrs. Judy France of Utic, wearing a dress "she had brought home from the Holy Land, presented a very in- formative, indepth description, taking a broad look into the many features of that land, which she has visited twice, and en- thusiastically stated she would like to go again! An interesting speaker! Drew Tromans modell- ed the head-dress worn in the Ho- ly Land! To cap the evening, refreshments were served in the S. School room. President Jean Williams introduced the speaker, and convener of program, Gwen Malcolm thanked Judy and gave her a 'token' gift from the U.C.W.. Notice: The Caesarea Youth Group dance, sponsored by the Ladies Auxiliary will be held this coming Friday night, June 16. Hope for a good crowd! Liquor, beer stolen in restaurant break-in Durham Regional Police say the Watermill Restaurant on Highway 12, north of Port Perry, was broken into some- time between 7:30 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. June 9th. Police report a quantity of lig- uor and beer was stolen.
