Cliff also brought in two triples with doubles from Brandy Boardman, Andy Avis, Mike Hepburn and Jay Buma. Awesome pitching by Chris Beacock with a terrific steal at home plate from Cliff Pelrine. Blackstock Lions vs Causeway Esso with a final score of 17 to 15. - Although Causeway Esso lost it 'was a good game. Homeruns were scored by Ritchie Timmers, Andy Wilson, Kevin Goble who also doubled along with Josh Wilson and John Rolston. There were super singles by Michelle Dean, Derek Sealey, Tanya Map- pin and Craig Rowntree who was also outstanding as the team catcher. - Error in last week's In- termediate game between Causeway Esso vs Cummings Backhoe. It should have been Cummings Backhoe victorious over Causeway Esso with final score of 6 to 4. Port Perry Kinsmen Vs Lishmans with a final score of 22 to 10. For the Kinsmen homeruns were hit by Jason Logan with two and one from Alisa Campbell. Doubles came from Johnathan McCourt and Laura Ranger. Outstanding catches were made i Malcolm and {who made three double plays ¥ "7 largely contributed to the out- come of the game. Solid pitching _ provided by Brad Morton, Jason Logan and Johnathan McCourt. Outstanding catching came from Nathan Adams and Kyle Buller. Turners Green Giants vs Asselstines Yamaha with a final score of 13 to 13. Turners Green Giants con- sistently produced singles coming from Derek Leeming (2), Leanne Goslin (2), Blain Pelrine (2), Matt Bradburn (2), Mike Leeming (2), Amanda Locke (2), Jeremy Michel (2) and Andy Seely with three. The only homerun scored by the Giants came from Mike Leeming. The Giants came on strong after the first three innings to tie the game. The pitchers Leanne Goslin, Derek Leeming and Troy Waldriff pitched outstandingly in the last four inn- ings of the game allowing only two runs in to tie the game up at 13 a piece. Matheb Farms vs Blackstock Lioness with a final score of 13 to 4. Maltheb Farms had a grand slam by Eric Vetter with triples coming from Jeremy Malcolm, Ronald Kelly and Melissa Renes. Doubles were hit by Luke Car- naghan and Melissa Renes. A great double play was made by Michael Carson with line drives caught by Nicole Espie and Peter Bostelman as well as by Maxine Lines at the top of the third. Pit- ching was outstanding coming from Peter Bostelman. For the Lioness there were no homeruns to be had, but a double came from Brad Vokins with singles from Lloyd Shaddock, Buddy Ledge, Brennan Malcolm, Dustin Marnoch, Melissa Donnel- ly and Scott Swain. Brad Johnson for the Legion scored that teams 2 goals and Bob Cowie was able to notch the lone score for Van Camp. Philip Krohn played well in goal holding the opposition to their single score. The Port Perry Star team was up against the strong Raglan team. Lots of scoring was evident here with Raglan overpowering their opposition by a score of 11 to Scoring for Raglan was Russell | Brown, Greg Bruton, Daniel Ar- chibald, Scott Cunningham & Daniel Crocher. The Port Perry Star scorers were Jamie Byars, and Ashlie Murphy with Ryan J arvis making many fine defensive plays. The Lions were badly outnumbered with on- ly 5 players so all had to put forth a really good effort. Genevieve Axon did a great job in net for Lions with Sean Williams, Chad Lance & Ben Russell working hard. Justin Biglestone, Aron Durda and Ian Ganett played very well for Classic Photo. The good positional play which action For the Sox Danny Lyons hit a homerun as well as a grand slam. Doubles were had by Michael Versage, Jada MacLeod, Crystal Timmers and Ben Stephenson. Good pitching came from Michael Versage, Danny Lyons and Pam Goble. Van Camp defeats Legion is the strong point of the Lions' Club paid off as they were able to hold off the opposition even though outnumbered.
