Sexy Scugog-ites heeded for revived Chamber Festival Days Sexy Contest You could win an exciting all expense paid trip to To- ronto via limousine if you're named the Sexiest Person in Scugog! That's right, the Scugog Chamber of Commerce is bringing back the popular "Sexy" Contest, just in time for Festival Days (July 13 to 16). People all over the Township had a lot of fun with the contest two years ago, and managed to raise a great deal of money for the Chamber, which supports many local charities in the area, including Community Memorial Hospital. This year organizers are hoping to do even better and have thrown a few new twists into the contest to make things really interesting. As always, residents of Scugog will be nominated into various "sexy" categories. Then it's up to the rest of us to "vote" for our favourite sexy people--each vote costs a penny, so the person with the most votes will not only be the "sexiest" person in town--he or she will also be the top fundraiser for the Chamber of Commerce. The overall winner will receive a romantic weekend for two in the city, with limousine transportation and spending money provided: The winners in each category will enjoy dinners for two at local restaurants. Now, have a look at the categories and see where your spouse/ friend/boss/co-worker/whoever best fits in. Then, . nominate them! The nomination fee is only $5 and entry forms are available at Blanchard's Supply, 189 North St.; and the Port Perry Star, 235 Queen St. . Here's the categories: 1) Sexy Single 2) Sexy Pregnant Lady 3) Sexy Couple 4) Sexy Salesperson (ie. a real estate sales rep or a car dealer or that nice lady down the block who sells you shampoo) 5) Sexy Lob Ball Player (also includes softball, base- ball-win this category and you're guaranteed a home run!) 6) Friendliest Bank Teller ) 7) Friendliest Waiter/Waitress (Sure you can tip them, but how would you like to vote for them too?) Winners will be announced on July 15 so time is run- ning out. Get your nominations in now! For more infor- mation call Joanne Blanchard at 985-9746.
