Car stolen and recovered Sometime overnight, June 24/256, a 1989 Ford four door car was stolen from a Bigelow St. driveway in Port Perry. Early in the morning of the 26th, Durham Regional Police in the Oshawa area spotted the car heading eastbound on the 10th Concession, Oshawa. The car then turned south on the boundary road and pulled into a driveway. Police entered the driveway and the two male occupants in the stolen car got out and took: off. Although the police took chase, the suspects were not captured. The car was badly scratched and an AM/FM stereo cassette deck was stolen.
