A pregnant woman was shaken up but not injured in this collision at the corner of Perry and North Streets, near the Scugog Township offices, Friday afternoon. Celebrity (just the car I had pulled over in the routine stop exercise. Hmmm, the plot was thickening). With our fingerprint training and the evidence we found at the scene of the body, we headed over to the Rollins house with a searchwarrant. The knife that had put an end to Fornier was lying beside Rol- lins' body. This time, we didn't rush to the body and mush all the evi- dence. After the conference we head- ed back to the gymnasium for an inspection. Exhausted, hot and itchy from the vests, we learned how to stand at Atten-SHUN and At . Ex- cept for an awards ceremony . We were all given OPP baseball caps and certificates, our hands were shook, and our gear was relinquished. Suddenly we weren't recruits anymore. We were just plain old reporters--very tired plain old reporters with long journeys home. And while I've never been so tired in my whole life, I feel real- ly good about the experience.
