Cornish graduation of the grade eight students on Wednesday night at the high school. congratulations to all students. A smaller turn out at the euchre on Thursday evening with only ten tables filled. The winners for the evening, Ladies: Velma Ross, Marie Geer, Alma Manns. Men: Irwin Kydd, Merv Storie, Grant Bright. Lucky draws: Betsy Staniland, Bert Daniels. There will be two more euchre's July 6th and 13th then will be closed till Sept. Mary Williamson has returned home after spending a month in England with her brother and other members of her family. While there, also attended the wedding of her nephew. Mr. and Mrs. Len Nixon arriv- ed home on the week-end after spending three weeks traveling to Calgary and other parts of Mayors Appreciation Night was memorable western Canada. Len visited his sister in Calgary. This trip was also a celebration for Len and Carman"s twenty-fifth anniversary. Grant and Eva Hunter and Reta Glasgow spent Friday visiting relatives in Sterling then on Saturday called on son John and Jackie at Warkworth. Visiting the past week with Owen and Shirley Kennedy was Shirley's brother Archie from England. Birthday greetings to Electa Vance and Earl Martyn who had a birthday on Monday July 3rd. There will be church service at the Prince Albert United Church for the next three weeks at 11:30. All visitors welcome. Planning Meeting Held It was a pleasure to have a number of Honeydale Women's Institute members down to the Cawker farmstead recently, on Scugog Point Rd, for a pro- gramme planning session. Other items of business were discussed JULY 13,14,15,16 Thurs to Sun as well! President Mary Cannon chaired the meeting with Helen Thomson acting as secretary. Some were unable to attend due to illness, etc. Later - a social time was enjoyed over refreshments - served by the hostess. What a dedicated group of members! Caesarea Community Church On a beautiful Sunday morning, July 2nd, 11 a.m. 1989, a very good congregation with Rev. Dr. W.H. Crawford in the pulpit. The responsive reading was taken by Dana Gibbons, and Lessons were read by George Kleinjan and Cecile Gibbons. Rev.
