An exciting party was given by her parents, David and Regenia Walker, in her honour, The guest list included - Deanna Latreille of Port Perry, Ryanne O'Neil of Scarborough, Tricia Haertel, Doreen Rush and Bernice Bryans all of Scugog Point. Grand- parents, Bert and Jean Hill of Whitby, and brother Kyle. After all arrived, many games were played. Avril opened her lovely gifts and thanked all. The afternoon was filled with delightful boatrides and plenty of swimming. A delicious supper was served along with birthday cake and ice cream. A good day was had by all! Trip Enjoyed Henry and Effa Stainton of " Williams Point, have recently returned from a most interesting trip, along with good friends from Tyrone- They were away travell- ing approximately three weeks, and toured Austria, a beautiful country with a lovely climate. They had excellent accomoda- tions and good meals in the Hotels where the foursome stayed! Nestleton Women's Institute Outing As a summer outing, Nestleton Women's Institute went to Cullen Gardens at Whitby, for their Ju- ly meeting. Several visitors were also in attendance, and enjoyed the Garden Gate Restaurant and the tour of the Gardens. On the way around, the Outdoor Valley Stage was the setting for a Melodrama, "The Scoundrels Love" with six young actors and actresses presenting the play.
