Intermediate Division Asselstines Yamaha defeated Blackstock Lioness with a final score of 24 to 9. Asselstines only brought in one run by Jesse MacDonald with triples from Scott Goble, Jeff Balser and Adam Wannacott. Doubles came from Jesse Mac- Donald, Kevin Gilbank, Chris Parsons and Adam Wannacott. Jeff Balser and Adam Wannacott came up with a great double play. Outstanding catches were made by Jesse MacDonald and Jeff Balser. For Blackstock Lioness there were no runs to be had but doubles came from Bill Duncan with two double plays from Brad Vokins and Dustin Marnoch. The rest of the game was overun by singles which came from Dustin Marnock, Scott Swain, Bill Dun- can, Lloyd Shaddock, Melissa Donnelly, Brennan Malcolm, Brad Vokins and Jana Reid. Maltheb Farms defeated Port Perry Kinsmen with a final score of 15 to 5. A single homerun was hit by Peter Bostelman for Maltheb Farms with triples from Mike Carlson and Peter Bostleman. In Seagrave, Standard Electric beat Seagrave by the score of 11 to 7 after being down by six runs at the end of the first inning. Brent Harper hit two doubles for Standard Electric while Louis the win for Maltheb Farms. For the Kinsmen a homerun came from Brad Morton with a triple by Jason Logan, the rest of the game was monopolized with hits from Meagan Boccacio, Nathan Adams, Kyle Buller, Ryan Copithorn, Alisa Campbell and John McCourt. Coaches believed the outcome of this game was due to the distraction from the chorus of chattering teeth and knocking knees from the players as well as the coaches, the only thing everyone ws concerned with was trying to keep warm any way they possibly could, even though a good game was had by all. The Senior Division did not play last week due to the grade eight graduation of Cartwright Central Public School. Back on track, 6-1 The Canadian Tire Bantam Fastball team was back on track as they beat Newmarket by a score of 6-1, and are playing .750 ball. Brett Puckrin pitched an ex- cellent game by allowing no earn- ed runs, 3 hits, 2 walks, and 13 strike outs. Brett also contributed offensively with a single, a triple, and 3 RBI's. R Scott McLennan, his battery™ partner, was involved in 13 put outs, hit 2 singles, and crossed the plate twice. Also hitting were Steve Laird with 2 singles, Ken Winslow with a single, and Jason McBride and Darrell Vander Slagt with 1 RBI each.
