Police encounter very few problems Durham Region Police say that aside from a couple of inci- dents, the Festival Days crowds in Port Perry over the weekend were well behaved. "Things seemed to go well. The people were having a good time and we didn't have any se- rious problems," said Sgt. George Scott. Police laid one charge against a person for being intox- icated in a public place, and there was a scuffle in the Festi- val Tent Saturday evening. And a 19-year old Town- ship man is facing one charge of |S causing a disturbance and an- other of assaulting police fol- lowing a scuffle on Water Street early Saturday morning.
