PORT PERRY STAR -- Tuesday, July 18, 1989 -- 23 Mutts strut their stuff for judges i Denise Bunston of Thornbury with her pet Franco, judged best Mutt in the Show. At right Is Erin Edwards of Prince Albert with Sheena, folks, all the mutts were winn They came in all shapes, sizes, colours and hair styles. Youngsters and their pets were what the Mutt Show was all about on Queen Street Sat- urday morning. : It was the 18th annual Fes- tival Days Mutt Show, MC'd once again by Doreen Kendall who seems to get as big a kick out of the show as anyone. The Mutt Show has always been a big hit with the young- sters - as they proudly display their favourite pets and t buddies for the judges. Irv Gibson, Pete Kneale and Lola McEachern had their work cut out for them judging the Mutts in ten different cate- gories, buf nobody went away disappointed. Best Mutt in the show was Big or small, kids love their mutts: the runner up. But seriously, ers. Franco, shown by Denise Bunt- son' and the runner-up was Sheena, shown by Erin Ed- wards.
