This young lady chose to be very creative last Thursday as she wanted to design not just a creature, Photoshy but a dress for a creature. Rob Streich Jackie, Julie and Melissa were very helpful and en- couraged the kids to ex- plore new ideas, within the- limits of avaliabllity. The menagerie included tigers, giraffes, birds, bun- niles and a handful of kids just out to have fun and play with friends. Hey kids It's the fourth week of Playground and it's holiday week! On Monday we will have Hallowe'en in Caesarea and Ap- ple Valley, so get ready for some spooky ghost stories! On Tuesday we will be having a birthday party in Prince Albert and Greenbank - practice up for pin the tail on the donkey and other birthday games. Merry Christmas everyone. On Wednesday in Seagrave and the Island Museum, we will be mak- ing Christmas ornaments. On Thursday we will celebrate Easter in Perry Glen and View Lake. On Friday, bring your sweetheart to Greenbank and Prince Albert as we will be celebrating Valentine's Day. Playground runs from 9:00-11:30 and 1:00-3:30. If it rains Playground is cancelled. Don't forget there are no washrooms at playground. Kids can bring a snack and drinks if they want. Come out and join the fun and bring your friends! See you there! Jackie, Julie, Melissa Joel and Judson expressed their artistry in two different ways. Judson is a talented cartoonist, as his picture dem- onstrates. Joel, however prefers a more dramatic approach to creature design - what you can do with only a tea towell 4 They say artistic talents runs in the blood.
