24 -- PORT PERRY STAR -- Tuesday, August 1, 1989 Playground report Hey Kids: This week is going to be amaz- ing! Each day we will be going to different countries or planets. On Monday we visit another planet in Caesarea and Apple Valley. Be ready for a moon walk adventure! On Tuesday we will venture beneath the great blue sea in Prince Albert and Green- bank for underwater day. On Wednesday, Seagrave and Scugog Island will be going to the far east for a Chinese Day. On - Thursday we will be fiestaing in Perry Glen and View Lake. On Friday join us for an Aussie Fest in the world down under at Green- bank Park and Prince Albert Public School. Just another reminder that Playground begins at 9:00 and ends at 11:30 in the morning and runs from 1:00 - 3:30 in the after- noon. there are no washrooms at the Playground sites. Kids can bring a drink and snack. If it rains, sorry, Playground is cancelled. So come out and join us, as we "travel the universe and don't forget a friend. . They were competing in the highest level of regional games against teams from Central On- tario. Qualifying the team of Keith Reid, Heather Robinson, Vicki Robinson, Tanya Dervent and Daina Codlin for the Eastern Canadian Finals to be held at the C.N.E. on Aug. 21. This is the first time that Durham Pony Club Prince Philip Games team has won this honour. The Prince Philip Games are a pony club event involving 5 riders on ponies.
