Janice Griffith, general manager with the Durham Y said Friday, -the decision to close the day care came after at least two children and four staff contacted the virus last week. Symptoms included skin rash and fever. Ms. Griffith said the deci- sion to shut the centre was rou- ne. "We do this automatically when more than 10 per cent (of staff and children in day care) get this kind of illness," she said.
