Church and Sunday School will be held in Epsom Church this week at 11:15 a.m.. There were 17 tables of euchre played on Friday evening in the Hall. Prizes were awarded to the following: Ladies 1st Elsie Pogue, 2nd Olive Ormiston and 3rd Pearl Lawton. Men's 1st was John Somerville, 2nd Celeste Smalley and 3rd Irwin Kydd. Freeze-out winners were Les and Edna Meyers, Jean Pogue and Jim Gib- son were second. Draw winners were Berenice Danials, Verna Slute and Annie Bowman. There will be another euchre in two weeks. . A belated congratulations to Mr. and Mrs. Terri Deonarain of the 4th Concession on the birth of a baby girl a few weeks ago. Meagan is a baby sister for Kayla. Congratulations to Grampa Bright. Grant's son John and his wife are proud parents of a baby boy. Irene Fielding attended the wedding ceremony on Saturday of a former Utica girl Nancy Rudkin who was married to James Stur- man in Port Perry United Church with the reception at the Odd- fellows Hall. Congratulations also to Marion Benedet and George Koppens who were married in 'Utica United Church on Saturday with the reception in the Hall. The newlyweds have a home in Utica Heights. Recent visitors with Mrs. Crosier were her daughter Jean Scott of London and June Bray of Sunderland. We would extend our sympathy to the family and relatives of Vida (Nicholls) Myers, wife of the late Whitlock Myers who lived in Utica as a boy. Nearly 200 were served. Ice cream for desert and the toe tapping down home music of Doreen Adams and the Golden Slippers provided one and all with an evening of good food and ex- cellent fellowship. Once again to each and everyone who bought a ticket and supported what Central Seven hopes will become an annual event, thank you for making what could have been a disaster one super evening of fun.
