The following impressions were written by Grade 2 students from Mrs. Watson's and Mrs. Plump- ton's classes. Let Me Tell You a Story by Lindsay McCallum Once upon a time I was an ap- ple seed. I was buried in the ground. I was all dirty. People gave me water everyday. Soon I was an apple tree. First the bran- ches came, then the blossoms came next, then the leaves came, then the apples came next, then I was an apple tree forever. Peo- ple picked apples off of me. Apple Orchard by Amy Davidson At the apple orchard we went on a hay ride and the teachers had to walk behind the wagon. We got to pick apples and put the apples in a bag. I had a great time. Mr. Hoad says he always had an interest in art but he didn't pursue his interest until he re- tired from the meat packing business eight years ago.
