The Choral Society's musi- cal production Anne Bonney will be previewed publicly for the first time ever on November 15, with all proceeds from the ticket sales that evening turned over to the Building Fund for the Memorial Hospital Expan- sion. It promises to be a very ex- citing evening. Not only will you see the spectacular original mu- sical written by Tom Millar and - Nina Foxall, everyone in the au- dience will be eligible to open a treasure chest for a prize fit for any pirate. And if you buy your $30 ticket prior to October 27, you will have the chance to open a second treasure chest that eve- ning. And once this premier ben- efit performance is over that night, you are invited to a recep- tion right next door at the Ma- sonic Hall, where youll meet the writers of this original mu- sical and all the cast. Debbie McGarry, who works for the Community Me- morial Hospital Foundation, told the Star, she is excited and very pleased the Choral Society has agreed to stage this preview performance for the Building Fund. The Hospital has been working on a fund raising cam- paign for a major expansion. The target is $2.7 million, and to date, about $2.5 million has been generated through dona- tions and pledges. ~The $30 tickets for the No- vember 15 special preview of Anne Bonney are now on sale at the Foundation office at the Hospital and Nuts About Choc- olate on Queen Street.
