On Saturday, September 9, 1989, Deborah Lynn Day and Kevin Bruce Ken- nedy were united in holy matrimony in a beautiful garden wedding at the home of Debbie's parents, Doug and Sandy Day of Caesarea. Kevin is the son of Charlotte Kennedy of Charlton, Ontario and Bruce and Doreen Kennedy of Whitby. Given in marriage by her parents, Debbie wore a floor length gown of white satin with tight fitted bodice, puff sleeves, V-neck with eyelet lace flowers, and mother of pearl sequins accenting the front and back. She wore white eyelet lace elbow length gloves. Her head piece was a white satin riding hat with sequins and lace flowers and 3 layer, shoulder-length veil with lily-of-the-valley falling flowers. Her sister, Donna Marie of Dunsford, was maid of honour dressed in royal blue satin. Wayne Kennedy, brother of the groom, was the best man. Ushers were Jamie Tennyson of Lindsay and Darren Fowler of Nestleton, both cousins of the bride. Following the wedding, a wonderful wedding dinner was held at Emiel's, follow- ed by a wedding dance at Blackstock. Out-of-town guests attended from Montreal, Charlton, Whitby, Toronto and Oshawa. Debbie and Kevin now reside in their home in Caesarea with their son, Justyn. FARRELL -- GUERNSEY On May 27, 1989, Kelli I. Guern- sey and Michael J. Farrell exchang- ed wedding vows at Blackstock United Church with Rev. Charles Bull officiating. Kelli wore a shimmering organza gown with pearls and sequins ador- ning the low-cut bodice and billow- ing ruffles on the shoulders. A cascading waterfall of ruffles extend- ed to a full cathedral length train, a fingertip veil with rhinestones to match the tiara. Michael wore a white tuxedo with tails. His accessories were ice pink. Wendy Guernsey, sister of the bride, was maid of honour, wearing a raspberry floor-length gown. Bridesmaids, Leanna Farrell, sister of the groom; Dawn Boullion, Michele Kimmerly, and Jennifer Fedyk, ail friends of the bride, wore ice pink cocktail length dresses with waterfall ruffles and puffed sleeves. Flower girl Lauren Sanders, cousin of the groom, wore a floor length ice pink dress. Michael's best men were Mark Farrell, brother and Kevin Painter, friend. The ushers were Tim Guernsey, uncle of the bride; Kelly Moore, cousin of the groom; and Wayne Hendricks, friend of the groom. They all wore black tuxedos. Randy Hyatt, cousin of the bride from Napanee was the ring bearer. Reception followed at Immaculate Conception Hall. Michael Sanders, cousin of the groom, was master of ceremonies. Out of town guests were from Ot- tawa, Hamilton, Picton and area, Bloomfield, Napanee, Belleville, Toronto, Mississauga, Oakville, Oshawa and Port Perry areas. The couple honeymooned at Whistler, B.C. and took the opportunity to visit relatives in Vancouver and Victoria area. They are now residing in Raglan.
