I shook the bed to get them up from sleeping. I had to wake up mom but she did not want to get up because it was only 7:00 in the morning. I said "It is Christmas morning" she said, "I forgot it was Christmas. We all went down to open our presents. We had fun opening our presents. When it was 12:00 we had a turkey dinner. When we were finished eating we opened our stocking to see what we got. by Amanda Nippard, Epsom P.S. Christmas Morning I was sound asleep when - wham Evan slammed my door. "Evan" I cried. "I'm trying to sleep." It's Christmas morning he said didn't you remember." 'Yea, but I was planning to sleep in I said." "Well I might as well stay up while I'm up. I said. "Let's go and dump our stock- ings." Evan said. I got a pencil ,sharpener and lots more to. Then we woke my Mom and Dad up and my Nana. Then we had our breakfast and opened our presents. Just then I jumped out of bed and ran into my brother's room and yelled "wake up it it Christmas morning." As soon as I finished he jumped out and ran to my sister's room. Then as soon as he got to her door he yelled "wake up.' Then all three of us ran downstairs. Then we all screamed in mom and dads ears, "wake up." When they got up we tore open our presents, 'Hey look I got a Sweetie Kittie' yelled my sister. 'I got Lego system" yell- ed my brother. "Hey I got a Sip- pin' Baby." 'I want you to get up so we can go and look in our stocking." So I got up and looked in my stocking and I saw a little teddy bear, candy and jewellry. I went to wake up my Dad so we could open our gifts. As soon as the three of us were opening gifts my Mom came down and joined us. After we opened all our gifts the whole family went skiing together. He woke up with a jump and said 'what do you want!"' I said "I want to see what's in my stocking." He said "ok but go ask mommy first" "ok' I said. When I got into my mom's room they were up. They said 'Have you wakened Willem again?" "Ya" I said. Then I took my stocking into my mom's room. "There's lots of things here," I said. Then I opened my presents and played.
