Just where the heck is Ba- thurst Township? That's the question Durham Region councillors were asking at a recent meeting of council. The 32 regional politicians were ready to endorse a resolu- tion penned by Bathurst Town- ship clerk-treasurer Cathie Ritchie, when Oshawa council- lor Margaret Shaw questioned the Township's location. Not one councillor or regional staff member present in the council chambers had the foggi- est notion.
