Midgets fall 3-2 to Oakwood The Port Perry Canadian Tire Midgets travelled to Oakwood for a game on Monday Feb. 5. The first goal of the game was a nice solo effort by David Volman. Later in the period Herb Hatch pressured the Oakwood defense and his hard work paid off when he got control of the puck and blasted it past the goalie. Steven Styles played well bet- ween the pipes making many good stops. Nathan Brown and Adam Cum- mings played a strong game. It was great to have Aaron Cochrane back from his foot in- jury. A late 3rd period goal by Oakwood gave them a 3-2 victory. There was an excellent turnout for this game and we'll be looking for all the guys to come out to the game this Wednesday night here in Port at 9:00.
