Cartwright band to attend National BLACKSTOCK NEWS BY JOYCE KELLY . Heartiest congratulations to Cartwright High School Band and its leader Mr. John Beirness on the invitation to attend the prestigious National Music Festival which will be held in Win- nipeg in May. The invitation is all the more amazing when it is pointed out that this band has been in existence for only two years. What an opportunity for this group of young musicans and their conductor.
