Following all that balmy weather last week, now we have to contend with snow once again. I guess we all knew it was too good to last, but didn't we all enjoy every minute of it? Anyway, Tuesday is the first day of Spring so it won't be much longer before we once again can put away the winter clothes. At the United Church this week: Thursday is choir practice at the Sobil home. Friday is the Youth Group's evening of mystery to be held at the Arnold Kerry home at 8 pm.. Church and Sunday School will be held in Epsom Church this coming Sunday at 11:15 a.m.. There were 10 tables of euchre played in the Hall last Friday evening. Winners were Ladies 1st Vera Brown, 2nd Jean Pogue and 3rd Annie Bowman. Men's 1st Martin Gall, 2nd Stan Beach and 3rd Les Meyers. Freeze-out win- ners were George and Rachel Harper, Martin Gall and Art Richardson were second. Winners of the lucky draws were Bruce Houghland, Grace Bassant, and Ruth Beach. Another great week began with a manicure session on Monday March 12. The next day our friends from Sunnycrest N.H. stopped by for an afternoon visit. Everyone particularly en- joyed the many delicious treats and punch. Another week ended with a British Day. In the morn- ing we watched a movie called "This England" which took us on a scenic tour of Britain. In the afternoon we had an Old English Tea in celebration of Mrs. Maud Edmonds 100th birthday.
