Steve Connors, Len Giaca- lone, Geer, Dan Maw and Dar- rin Lee into an empty net rounded out the scoring for Port Perry. Menzies had four assists. The Raiders got a pair of goals Shane Hoskin wtih sin- gles by Hugh Murphy and Paul Matheson. On the smaller ice surface in the Napanee Arena, the Raiders opted for a physical game, but there were just seven minor penalties called. MoJack coach Ken Har- man gave Tony Sortino a well- deserved break as Dwayne Mackie got the startin goal, and he faced 28 shots, 15 of them in the final frame. In game two Sunday night, the MoJacks jumped to a 2-0 lead before many fans had made their way to the seats, and they just steam-rollered their way to a 12-2 win. Harman got them going at Legion champs The Port Perry Pee Wee A's concluded their season in style Saturday, defeating Mount Forest Patriots in the Division III final game; the second straight year Port has returned from Goderich as division champs. Sean Ellis and Joe Broadworth continued to be offensive leaders in this game. Sean took a Craig Laird pass and fired a low shot in- side the far post to equal an early Patriot goal in the first period. In the second he set up Joe in front for a marker to send the team to -the room tied at 2. Midway through the third, Scott Heasman blasted a shot from the boards that caught the inside of the post and gave Port their first lead of the game while they en- joyed a two-man advantage. Sean, Joe, and Jeremy Norton were all instrumental in the play that led to the score. With under 4 minutes to play, Jay Tredway picked up an in- surance goal, his 30th of the season, when he managed to tip in a set-up from Sean and Billy Zaparanuik. Jay turned in an in- spirational performance in his first game after a seven-week recovery from a broken leg and it was only fitting that he score a big goal. This goal then turned out to be the winner as Mount Forest scored less than a minute later to make things tight. Port weathered the storm, thanks to a few large saves from Mike Pashley, including one at the buzzer when the Patriots were pressing. The final result was a 4-3 victory for the Legionaries.
