Pee Wee 2s lose § fo Bowmanville in tournament The Pee Wee 2's travelled to Bowmanville this past weekend for their Pee Wee Select Tourna- ment and made it to the B Cham- pionship BUT they went down in defeat to the host team. Port lost the first of their 4 games by a score of 4-1 to the team from Hamilton. Port's lone marker late in the third was scored by Mike Labanovich assisted by Jason Reid. MVP game 1 - Brett Lawson. Port's second game was won by a score of 5-1 over the team from Trenton. Trenton scored first but less than one minute later Darly Bourgeois got the puck to Jeremy Geer and he sent it top high. Jason Reid notched our second with the assist going to Ian Shrigley. With 59 sec. left in the first, a penalty shot was awarded to Jeremy Geer. The crowd was on the edges of the seats, he stickhandled that puck and prompty sent it flying over top of the goalie and into the net. There was no scoring in the se- cond by either team.
