Congratulations to the Carter girls. Both have been working very hard at their activities. Christina placed third with an honors mark of 86 for her Grade 1 piano, Alexandra and her duet partner placed third with a mark of 87. But Alexandra was occupied at a North Durham Gymnastics meet so that she was unable to perform her solo piano. It did not prevent her from . performing will at her meet though. She received a first on floor with a perfect score of 10 from all 3 judges, a first on beam and a se- cond on vault. She went on to the Durham Regional Elementary School Championships to again receive a first on floor, fourth on beam and fifth on vault. They are both preparing their dance routines for their recital in June. Alexandra this year at- teanded two dance competitions with her jazz solo and performed very well. They must feel good about themselves to get in front of those audiences and still do well. We will be watching for those cart- wheels Alexandra, around the neighbourhood. Way to go, girls!! It's time to relax!! 4 Thats all for this week, thanks to all who contributed news. The proposed enhanced role falls into four advisory areas: (i) allocating funds; (ii) determining human resource requirements in the health field; (iii) strengthening area-wide planning; and (iv) achieving integration of health and social services planning. There has been some confusion the enhanced role, par- ticularly with repect to the alloca- tion of funds.
