A daughter of the late Hilda Parker and Clarence Harrison of Myrtle, she was born on Dec. 30th 1910 in Whitby, 'Ontario. She married William H. McCartney March 19th, 1931. They lived in Brooklin, Myrtle and later, Manchester. Her hus- band passed away Oct. 17, 1977, a daughter Hazel passed away in 1951. : Mrs. McCartney leaves her lov- ing family to mourn her passing, her daughters Dorothy (Mrs. Ar- thur Tippett) Phyllis (Mrs. Bruce Selby) Wilma (Mrs. Lawrence Midgley) Ruth (Mrs. Robert Underwood) Carol Clenerdon, Vick; (Mrs. John Popowich) Bar- bara McCartney, Mary Parish, Gail (Mrs. Gordon Harper) her sons Bill, and his wife Debbie, Dan and his wife Judy. Her sister Mildred Harrison. 30 grand- children and 32 great- grandchilden.
