Others objected to being forced to belong to an organiza- tion they did not want to be in- volved with, and some just felt there was not enough being done in their particular area. Jim Grieve, manager of Port Perry IGA suggested to the Board that the most pressing roblem in the downtown is the ack of parking. Acting on Mr, Grieve's sug- gestion, a committee was orga- nized to take animmediate look at what could be done to help the parking shortage in the downtown. The meeting ended with an overwhelming vote of confi- dence for the work beind car- ried outby the current board of * directors, who still have over two years left of their three year term. Agriculture minister David Ramsey with Mayor Howard Hall and Regional chairman Gary Herrema after the an- nouncement Friday that the Durham Agriculture office will be-relocated in Scugog Township.
