PE --_-- Festival Days tickets on sale Festival Days is fast ap- proaching, and tickets are now on sale for the two main dances in the Festival Days tent July 13 and 14. On the Friday night, July 13, Allan Johnson and his Rake and Scrape Band will provide the musical entertainment for the "Bahamas Goombay Bash." This band has played many large hotels in the Bahamas Police youths charge A brief chase, lasting about a mile, led to the arrest of four youthful offenders near Port Perrylast Saturday evening. The four, three from Toron- to and one from Nestleton, have been charged with possession of stolen property. The incident began just be- fore midnight when Regional Police ran a check on a vehicle on Highway 7A. When it turned out the veh- cile had been reported stolen in Toronto, the officer gave chase and the vehicle was eventually pulled over. Regional Police were kept busy over the Canada Day long weekend with numerous acci- dents in the Scugog area. 'A Police spokesman said there were no serious injuries as a result of the accidents, in- cluding a 16 year old youth who ran into the side of a car while riding his bicycle. And Regional Police say the number of liquor charges laid over the long weekend, was about the same as on any sum- mer weekend. Fiesta Espana is the theme that evening, and there will be Spanish food and drinks to ~ tempt your palate. And the Spanish Dance Company will put on a show of Flamenco Dancing as part of the evening's entertainment.
