This week we have filled with adventurous trips, nature crafts and exciting NEW games. The children are sure to enjoy our nature theme in- cluding a trip to Purple Woods Conservation Area. Other activities to look forward to this week are swim days, which are held three times a week, Mon- day, Wednesday and Friday at Birdseye Pool. This week we are stressing the importance of recycling by en- couraging everyone to bring in items for our craft that might have been thrown out like jars, paper, egg cartons, etc.. The first ever Scugog Township sports camp begins Monday July 9th. The children will be participating in Phantasma magic show Tots to 10 year olds will enjoy the Phantasma Magic Show to be performed during Festival Days. The show, sponsored by the Scugog Chamber of Commerce in conjunction with the Scugog Memorial Library, will be fea- tured at the big tent in Palmer Parkon Friday. Show time for the 40-minute productionisat 1 p.m. Tickets can be purchased at the library for $3 each. Adults accompanying children are ad- mitted free. sports such as volleyball, soccer, floor hockey, swimming etc. We will be walking down to Birdseye pool every Tuesday and Thursday afternoons. Please remember a towel and a bathing suit on these days. Some everyday items to remember are comfortable shoes, nutritious lunches, snacks for breaktime as well as extra drinks. On really hot days, bring a hat and some sunscreen. We are ready for an action packed week of Sports Camp. We're looking forward to seeing you.
