Tribute made to Geordie Beare at decoration service A beautiful tribute was made at the Decoration Service on Sunday by Lloyd Lee in memory of Geor- die Beare for numerous years of dedication and interest in the cemetery. Lloyd Lee's generous donation to the cemetery will never be forgotten due to the ma- jor improvement on the front of the Chapel. The Beare family thank Lloyd Lee for his gift in Memory of Geordie. The service was well attended with Janice Kerr of Oshawa as soloist and Reverend McKay of Epsom as guest speaker. . Earla Hill attended the Oshawa General Hospitals' 1st annual staff picnic on Saturday in honour of its' 80th anniversary, where the Hospitals' baseball team played the Oshawa Generals Hockey team in a game of lob ball.
