The Seagrave resident, who is a long time member of the Port Perry Kinsmen Club, received a strong mandate from voting delegates at the Kin na- tional convention held last week in Thunder Bay. Mr. Robinson will start serving his year term immedi- ately. And his election to the post as vice president, means an al- most certain term as national president a year from now. He began working towards this election several months ago, and during the week long convention leading up to the se- cret ballot vote on Saturday, he put in long days lobbying dele- gates for support. In a phone interview with the Star Monday morning, he said the week was a gruelling one, but obviously he's very pleased with his election victo- ry.
