September has arrived, and that means it's time for the Ar- thritis Society's annual fundrais- ing campaign! With one in seven Canadians being affected by ar- thritis, we can all sympathize with those who suffer from the disease, and try to help out by of- fering a donation, and/or being a canvasser. Canvassing is not a big job - it takes only a couple of hours during the month to call in at 15 or 20 houses, and the more volunteers we have, the easier the job is! Please call local chairman Janet Banting at 985-3225. If you would like more informa- tion about arthritis, call the local chairman or regional office at 434-7221.
