PORT PERRY STAR -- Tuesday, September 11, 1990 -- 29 Blues and Eades victorious in tourney The Manilla Eades, and the Pineridge Blues were victori- ous in this past week-ends La- dies' Lob Ball Tournament. The tournament was a round robin affair, beginni on Wednesday evening, and con- uding with the champion- ships on Saturday. Each team played four games, with the top two ix sach ivision going on to nals. In the "A" division, Manilla 'Eades Well Drilling won five straight James on their way to victory. The final game pitted Manilla against Nestleton, with the Eades walking away with the victory. The Eades were also the league champs this year. " Inthe "B" division, The Pine- ridge Sports Blues also were games, to claim the B champi- onship. The final game in this divi- sion slated the Blues against the Seagrave Turkeys, with the Blues .coming out 8-1 winners ina close match.
