He's the owner of Willy Small Engine and Marine, and right now his showroom is filled with Polaris snowmobiles and all the accessories such as clothing, gloves, helmets and Moore Trailers. The business, which Willy started in 1977 is located about two miles north of Port Perry on Durham Road 2, right across from Castle Harbour. And while the Polaris snowmobiles and ATV's are getting the attention at this time of year, Willy and Son are dealers for Mercury outboards, Princecraft boats, Lawnboy mowers, Roper tractors and til- lers, and Homelite-Jacobsen products. Of course, they will repair engines of all makes. Willy has been involved with snow- mobile sales and service since 1969. He's a fully licenced and factory trained me- chanic as are his son Stuart and employee CreinHosiy, or 1991, Polaris has unveiled a new model, the RXL Indy 650 with an electron- ically fuel injected engine and the wider snow pro frontend. They are in the showroom now, as are the other new Polaris models, the Indy Starlite 250 and the Indy Lite 340. The Indy Sport, which was a 340 is now a 440 this year, and all models are equipped With independent frontsuspension. Buying a new Polaris before October 1 means a $300 rebate on clothing and ac- cessories. The arrival of fall may mean snowmo- biles, but it also means proper mainte- nance and storage of boats and motors. Willy and Son specialize in winter preparation of in-boards and out-boards, and storage for boats and trailers. For those who want to store thelr boats outside, Willy and Son offer shrink- wrap plastic coverings. A proud moment for Willy and his staff came this past spring when the company was presented with a handsome plaque from Polaris as "Service Dealer of the Year." Willy's wife Nancy plays an active role in this successful Scugog company and she says "one of the nicest things about this business has been-all the great people we've met over the years. We have made some truly fine friends." The showroom is open Monday- Thursday 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM., Fridays from 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM., and Saturdays 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM.
