The winner of the dragon naming contest was Justin Koury who gave the library mascot the new name of Duncan. Pic- tured is Epsom Public School student Cheri Jarvis, centre, who was the runner-up in the dragon naming contest. She chose the name Newton. Myrtle News We are glad to hear Muriel Lynde is home from the hospital, recovering nicely from her recent surgery. We are sorry to have Trevor, Wendy and baby Alex Dundas move away from our community. They are now living in Ajax. Wen- dy assures us she will be back to visit us often. Things are gearing up for our 2nd annual craft sale at Myrtle Church. All the tables will be fill- ed with a large variety of hand crafted items. The U.C.W. will also be selling home baked goods. It will be Sat. Nov. 17th - 9 a.m. - 4 p.m. Admission is free. Come & start your Christmas shopping. Plans are underway for our Christmas Pagent held on Dec. 8. These meetings will be held at the church, and all men are welcome. Happy birthday to Mrs. Luella Short who celebrated her 85th bir- thday on Sunday at the home of her son, Ken and Marion Short.
