The Intermediate students of Cartwright Public School will be presenting the play "Anne of Green Gables" tomorrow (Wednesday) and Thursday evenings. The school began holding try- outs for the play as soon as school began in September. Ac- cording to directors Greg Mar- shall, and Peggy Bredin, the Grade 7 and 8 students have been practicing steadily on their performances. Several from Epsom attended the Seniors Christmas Dinner at Trinity United Church on Nov. 27. The best beef I had tasted in ages, and what a wonderful treat that Christmas pudding was. The pro- gramme was equally good as pro- duced by Gord Prentice and friends, 'The Country Rovers." Thanks everyone. The W.1. met on Wed. evening at the home of Barbara Rance. The group has started a course in Bread making. What! Only one man enrolled. It's not too late fellows - come and join in. Our social club missed the Nov. meeting but are planning a big Sun. afternoon party in Jan. for the whole family. More news later. Let's hope the weather cooperates.
